Why take a gap year?

Taking a gap year 的時間點主要有以下幾個。
1. 繼續深造前（比如讀研究所、博士等）。
2. 深造後。
3. 讀書期間。比如沒心讀下去，因此休學出去看一看。
4. 轉換工作時。這時才有一段長時間可以利用。

關於時間長短。
雖說是taking a gap year，但也未必一定要一年以上。
只要是一段長時間，比如三個月、半年也可以。
